Travel PTA - Skilled Nursing FacilityAmerican TravelerHumansville, Missouri, United StatesPosition ID: P- Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: T00:00:00.000Z$1,479.71/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with at least 1 year of experience in a Long Term Care or SNF setting for a 13-week Days assignment.DetailsLong Term Care (LTC) setting within the Physical Therapy unitDays shift, 8 hours, Monday through FridayFlexible start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of RehabilitationNo weekend work required unless a holiday falls within the M-F schedule, in which case hours may be made up on the weekendNo on-call requirementsCompact license acceptedRequirementsActive PTA license required if applicableMinimum 1 year of PTA experience requiredLTC or SNF setting experience requiredNew graduates accepted if they completed Level II clinical experience (not solely Level I observation)One reference required for considerationAdditional InformationProvide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical TherapistAdminister manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive or assistive devicesAssess patient progress and communicate with the supervising PT to adjust treatment plansDocument all treatment information in the electronic documentation system in accordance with regulatory and clinical requirementsParticipate in required meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetingsSupervise and support students under the guidance of the supervising Physical TherapistAdhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practiceNo more than 7 days of requested RTOHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 8
