Travel PTA - Skilled Nursing FacilityAmerican TravelerHumansville, Missouri, United StatesPosition ID: P- Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: $1,479.71/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care facility, requiring 1+ years of PTA experience in an LTC or SNF setting.DetailsLong Term Care (LTC) skilled nursing facility setting within the Physical Therapy unit13-week assignment with Day shift, 8-hour shiftsMonday through Friday schedule with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AMNo weekend work required unless making up holiday hoursNo on-call requirementsCompact license acceptedRequirementsActive PTA license required if applicableMinimum 1 year of PTA experience requiredLTC or SNF setting experience requiredNew graduates considered if Level II clinical experience was completedOne reference required for considerationAdditional InformationProvide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment under the supervision of a Physical TherapistAdminister manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive or assistive devicesAssess patient progress and communicate with the supervising PT to adjust treatment plansDocument all treatment information in the electronic documentation system per regulatory requirementsParticipate in required meetings such as patient care conferences and utilization reviewsProvide input for discharge summaries and assist in obtaining necessary DME or suppliesSupervise and support students under the guidance of the supervising PTAdhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standardsNo more than 7 days of RTO may be requestedHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 8
