Travel PTA - Skilled Nursing FacilityAmerican TravelerNorman, Oklahoma, United StatesPosition ID: P- Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: $1,441.28/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care setting requiring 1+ years of PTA experience and active PTA license.DetailsWork in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility within the Physical Therapy departmentDay shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AMNo weekend requirementsNo on-call requirements13 week assignmentRequirementsActive PTA license required (license required if applicable)Minimum 1+ years of PTA experience requiredLTC or SNF setting experience requiredNew graduates considered if they completed Level II clinical experience (not just Level I observation)One reference required at time of considerationAdditional InformationProvide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under PT supervisionAdminister treatment interventions including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devicesAssess patient progress and communicate with supervising PT to adjust treatment plansDocument all regulatory and clinical information in the electronic documentation systemParticipate in required meetings such as patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetingsProvide input for discharge summaries and assist in obtaining necessary DME or suppliesMay supervise and support students under PT guidanceAdhere to APTA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standardsNo more than 5 days of RTO can be requestedHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 8
