Travel PTA - Skilled Nursing FacilityAmerican TravelerPurcell, Oklahoma, United StatesPosition ID: P- Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1Start date: $1,441.28/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Long Term Care facility, requiring an active PTA license and 1+ years of LTC/Rehab experience.DetailsLong Term Care (LTC) setting within a Physical Therapy unit focused on skilled nursing rehabilitation13-week assignment with day shift, 8-hour shiftsMonday through Friday schedule with flexible start times between 6AM and 10AM, as long as consistent and communicated with the Director of RehabNo weekend requirementsNo on-call requirementsRequirementsActive PTA license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)Compact license not acceptedMinimum 1 year of PTA experience requiredLTC or Rehab setting experience requiredNew graduates considered if they completed Level II clinical experience (not Level I observation only)One reference required at time of submissionAdditional InformationProvide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment under the supervision of a Physical TherapistAdminister procedures including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, and use of assistive devicesAssess and communicate patient progress to the supervising Physical Therapist and adjust treatment plans accordinglyDocument all treatment information and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirementsParticipate in required meetings such as patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetingsAssist supervising Physical Therapist with obtaining necessary DME or suppliesMay supervise and support students under PT guidanceAdhere to APTA standards and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethicsNo more than 5 days of RTO can be requestedHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 8
