Overview
Pyramid Consulting is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel assignment in Canton, Georgia.
Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment (linear accelerators, simulation devices)
Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization techniques
Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions
Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records
Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and medical physicists
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection standards
Provide compassionate care and education to patients and their families
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist
Current AHA BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (preferred/commonly required — confirm with facility)
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and oncology procedures
Preferred Skills
Experience in a high-volume cancer center or hospital setting
Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
