Job Description
nWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. This position requires a compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality patient care through the administration of radiation therapy treatments.
Responsibilities
n Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
Ensure the accurate delivery of radiation doses and monitor patient responses during treatment.
Maintain and operate radiotherapy equipment in adherence to safety and quality standards.
Assist in patient positioning and provide support to alleviate anxiety during treatment sessions.
Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately in medical records.
Stay updated with the latest developments and techniques in radiation therapy.
n Qualifications
n Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiation Therapist is required.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T) is mandatory.
Valid state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist is required at the time of submission.
n Work Schedule
nThis position typically follows a shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
