nRequirements:
nCompletion of high school/GED or completion of college. Current CPR Certification required. 2 years of experience. Completion of 1 travel assignment. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Elekta Experience is a PLUS.
nResponsibilities:
nnPrepare and apply ionizing radiation to patients according to prescriptions and instructions.n
Operate Radiation Oncology equipment including CT simulators, linear accelerators, QA dosimeters, diode systems, and computer equipment.n
Deliver prescribed radiation therapy accurately in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.n
Float between Proton and Photon treatments as needed under supervision.n
Follow safety and quality assurance procedures for radiation delivery.n
