Job description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist for a days-only oncology assignment requiring 2+ years of radiation therapy experience and ARRT (T) certification.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
ARRT (T) certification required
BLS certification (AHA) required
License required if applicable
Compact license not accepted
Responsibilities
Oncology radiation therapy department within a cancer treatment setting
Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
No weekend requirements
No on-call requirements
Uses Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator (LINAC)
Uses ARIA software for treatment planning and EMR
Deliver quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments
Perform treatment simulations and fabricate shielding blocks as needed
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Prepare equipment for patient treatments including quality control and assurance testing
Ensure proper infection control techniques and radiation safety practices
Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff
Limited RTO requests permitted during the assignment
Local candidates within a 35 mile radius considered local travelers
