Job description
American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (T) certification and at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift hospital assignment.
Requirements
Active ARRT (T) certification required
State license required if applicable, compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of experience required
Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging, beam modifying/positioning, and electron field treatment
Preferred experience with SRS, respiratory gating, Tomo Therapy, and dosimetry
Preferred experience treating benign brain tumors, heterotopic bone, keloids, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, and testicular cancer
2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Responsibilities
Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, approximately 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with start time varying based on volume and machine schedule
Epic charting system preferred
Uses Elekta Infinity and Varian 21 ex/ix treatment units
Utilizes Impac MOSAIQ
Deliver radiation therapy treatments across adult acute care and outpatient settings
May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up-front; minimal RTO is preferred
Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
Former Providence facility employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
First-time travelers not considered for this position
