Job description
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) in The Dalles, Oregon, beginning 11/02/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Pay ranges from $2,700 to $2,889 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (5x8 days). This travel assignment is hospital-based and is represented by OFNHP.

Responsibilities
Administers ionizing irradiation to patients according to prescriptions and instructions from department physicians.
Ensures patient safety by following radiation safety protocols, including proper immobilization and verification imaging as required.
Operates linear accelerator and related treatment delivery equipment, delivering prescribed doses per protocol.
Verifies patient identity, positions immobilization devices, and utilizes image-guided verification as appropriate.
Documents treatment delivery, maintains treatment records, and communicates with the care team to report discrepancies or issues.
Collaborates with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other members of the radiation therapy team; participates in quality control activities as assigned.
Requirements
Active license or credentialing as Radiation Therapist in Oregon or eligible for licensure
ARRT certification or eligibility (Radiation Therapist)
Minimum education: Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent
1+ year of radiation therapy experience preferred
Ability to work in a hospital setting and fulfill travel assignment requirements
