Radiology Tech – Diagnostic Radiologic Tech

Setting: hospital-type travel assignment in the North Kohala area

Credentials: ARRT registry required; 2+ years radiography experience; Siemens and Carestream equipment experience preferred
Responsibilities
Perform radiographic examinations (X-ray only) as ordered, ensuring proper patient positioning and protection of sensitive tissues
Operate imaging equipment (Siemens or Carestream) and adjust technical factors to produce diagnostic-quality images
Verify patient identity and exam requests, document procedures, and maintain accurate image archives and paperwork
Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and patient care protocols; monitor for patient comfort and safety during procedures
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and technologists to coordinate care and relay preliminary information as needed
Be available for a flexible schedule that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays; participate in on-call duties as required
Requirements
ARRT registry required
2+ years radiography experience
X-ray only position
Ability to work AM/PM/On Call shifts, including weekends and holidays
Comfortable working in a hospital setting in the North Kohala area
Siemens and Carestream equipment experience is preferred but not required
