Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-ray Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a rotating shift assignment requiring prior travel experience.
Radiology department in an acute care hospital setting
Rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
Schedule includes Mon-Tues-Fri, Day/Eve rotation (Mon-Tues 8:00am-8:30pm, Fri 9:00am-10:00pm)
Variable weekend and holiday rotation as needed
Call requirements are variable and based on department need
Scheduling flexibility required, including possible day changes based on department needs
Requirements
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program required
Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or appropriate military training required
Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required
Current registration as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible within 6 months of hire required
BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Prior travel assignment experience required
Strong communication and customer service skills required
Computer proficiency including PACS and HIS/RIS required
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English required
Ability to maintain confidential information required
Additional Information
Candidates must maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate department needs
Local candidates accepted at a discounted rate
Radius rule of 50 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
