Job Description
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lapeer, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have strong X-ray imaging experience, including operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, and producing high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and medical conditions.
The technologist will work directly with patients and healthcare professionals while following established imaging protocols, radiation safety procedures, and patient care standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders.
Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Position patients appropriately to obtain accurate, high-quality images.
Follow radiation safety protocols and departmental procedures.
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of X-ray experience.
Operating Room (OR) experience required.
ARRT certification required.
Strong patient care, communication, and technical skills.
Additional Information
13-week travel contract.
Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
Every other weekend required.
No on-call requirement.
Local traveler policy applies to candidates whose permanent address is within 35 miles of the facility, local rates may be reduced by 10%.
