Job description
American Traveler is hiring a dual modality Radiology Technologist (CT/X-ray) with 2+ years experience and ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certification.
Requirements
Active VA state license required if applicable
ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certification required
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
Strong IV skills required
EPIC EMR experience preferred
Fuji PACS experience preferred
Responsibilities
Perform CT studies including head, abdomen, pelvic, angio, and extremities
Perform X-ray studies including portable chest and routine exams
Average caseload of 0-15 studies per day, occasionally up to 22
Uses EPIC EMR and Fuji or Visage PACS
GE CT unit and Philips X-ray units
Covers CT and X-ray at a single healthplex location
Backup on-call required one weekend per month with 45-minute response time
Fill-in coverage for open shifts as needed
Coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday
Floor-specific orientation provided
Black scrub color required
No 24/7 on-site pharmacy support
