Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,487 to $1,589 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is Night, 12-hour blocks on a 3-night cycle. Work setting is a hospital ED with high patient volume and float opportunities to adjacent units as needed.

Float responsibilities: May float to med/surg, step-down, or ICU as necessary
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a busy ED, including triage, rapid assessment, continuous monitoring, and appropriate interventions
Administer medications, assist with procedures, and support trauma activations as part of the ED team
Manage boarder patients and coordinate care with inpatient units, consultants, and ancillary services to optimize throughput and safety
Float to approved units (med/surg, step-down, ICU) when requested, maintaining competency across areas as needed
Document in the electronic medical record, ensure accurate handoffs, and educate patients and families as appropriate
Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to maintain high-quality patient care and adherence to ED protocols and safety standards
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a facility of similar size and level 1 trauma capability
BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
Resume with no gaps, ED skills checklist, and ED references required
Active RN license (in good standing) to practice in the applicable jurisdiction
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume ED and float to other units as needed
