Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Utica, NY. Travel - temporary assignment starting 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,326–$2,416 per week with no guaranteed hours. Day shift. Work setting is a hospital emergency department.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in the ED across adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations, including initial assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing clinical management.
Administer medications, perform procedures within scope, and respond to emergencies (including cardiac events, trauma, and respiratory distress) in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC), including accurate flow sheets, orders, and patient education; coordinate discharge planning and referrals as appropriate.
Work with a comprehensive ED team to manage common diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure; use ED equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun when indicated.
Float to related ED areas as needed; maintain patient safety and adhere to unit policies, including adherence to infection control and quality metrics.
Requirements
Active NY RN license with Nursys verification
TNCC required to be in hand; ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS (AHA certifications)
EPIC EMR experience and proficiency in ED documentation
2+ years of emergency department nursing experience; travel experience required
Pediatric experience preferred; ability to manage newborns through geriatrics
RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
Ability to work in a fast-paced ED with floating to related areas
Driver’s license with current address matching demographics
Local candidates within approximately 75 miles may be considered for a local rate
