Schedule/Hours:
Full-time, travel assignment
40 hours per week
Key Qualifications: Current, unencumbered RN license
Demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
Proficiency in critical care skills, including IV placement, monitoring patient status, and assisting with interventional procedures
ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Adaptable, resourceful, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities: Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding promptly to any complications
Provide comprehensive patient education regarding procedures and post-care instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Follow strict infection control protocols and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
