Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Geneva, NY. Start date 10/05/2026 for 18 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,988 per week to $2,098 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 rotating (day/night). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a medical-surgical patient population. End date expected in February/March 2027 per contract requirements.

Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric medical-surgical patients
Assess patient needs, develop an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and adjust based on response
Administer medications and monitor for efficacy and adverse effects; document assessments and interventions accurately
Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care and discharge planning
Educate patients and families to support self-care after discharge and facilitate understanding of treatment plans
Maintain a healing environment with emphasis on safety, infection prevention, and quality of care
Requirements
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI accepted)
NIHSS certification
Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical RN experience
Ability to care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg setting
Availability to work a 3x12 rotating schedule with on-call shifts required (2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks)
