Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Geneva, NY. This contract begins 09/21/2026 and runs for 23 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,037 to $2,138. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift is 3x12 rotating (day or night). Work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital on the Med/Surg unit.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients with medical conditions on the Med/Surg unit
Assess patient/family needs, develop and implement an individualized plan of care with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families, including discharge planning and self-care after hospitalization
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care and promote patient safety
Promote a healing environment and provide emotional support to patients and families
Requirements
Active New York State Registered Nurse license
BLS and ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS certification
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Med/Surg
Ability to work 3x12 rotating shifts (day or night)
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a high-demand hospital setting
