Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia, United States. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,595–$1,674 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. This is a hospital-based travel assignment in a medical-surgical setting with neuro care components.

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for adults on the medical-surgical and neuro-oriented unit, delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care.
Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments, and perform necessary assessments including neurologic checks; elevate changes promptly.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing peers, case managers, and ancillary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Document accurately in the electronic health record; ensure timely communication of patient needs, goals, and discharge planning.
Support patient safety and quality initiatives; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; participate in rounds and interdisciplinary care conferences.
Respond to emergencies and provide essential life‑saving interventions within scope of practice.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a medical-surgical or neurology-focused specialty.
Certifications: Required AHA BLS and NIH Certification; Preferred: AHA ACLS.
Schedule: Night shifts with 12‑hour shifts; ability to work in a 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. window; schedule may vary.
Applicant location: No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location.
Education: Not specified beyond holding an RN degree appropriate for the role.
