Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg travel assignment in Dundee, KS. Start date 10/18/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,930-$2,035. Guaranteed hours: 0 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, , 3x12 schedule in a short-term acute care setting. This assignment requires Med-Surg nursing experience and is a travel - temporary placement.

Setting: Short-term acute care hospital Med-Surg
Orientation and rotation: Monday virtual orientation; rest of week on unit training; weekend rotation 2 per month; on-call 1 shift per month
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to adult Med-Surg patients within the scope of practice, including assessments, monitoring, and interventions
Administer prescribed medications, including IV medications when within scope, and monitor for adverse effects
Conduct ongoing patient assessments, document findings in the electronic health record, and communicate changes to the care team
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case management for care planning, discharge planning, and patient education
Respond to changes in patient condition, implement appropriate interventions, and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
Requirements
active KS RN license or Compact/multi-state license
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg hospital experience
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; weekend rotation (2 weekends per month); on-call 1 shift per month; ability to float within scope of practice
Education: Graduation from an accreditedRN program and current RN licensure
Willingness to participate in holiday rotation as needed
