Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Hanford, CA. Start date: 10/12/2026. This is an 8-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay is $1,776 to $1,901. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with a Med Surg service line.

Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards.
Monitor patient status, administer medications, and manage clinical assessments with attention to safety and quality.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
Develop and implement patient care plans, evaluate progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, healing environment and ensure proper documentation of care.
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least two years of recent acute care experience in Med Surg or a similar unit
CPR/BLS certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; ACLS required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
Epic experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital Med Surg environment
Current licensure and ability to meet organization vaccination requirements as applicable
