Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele, Needham, Massachusetts. Travel - Temporary Assignment. Start date October 12, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,583 to $2,769 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly. Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts. Setting: hospital Med Surg Telemetry unit with float responsibilities.

Work setting: travel assignment on a hospital Med Surg Tele floor with float responsibilities
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
Monitor telemetry readings, interpret rhythms, and respond to dysrhythmias promptly
Administer medications and manage IV therapy per physician orders and hospital protocol
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, document in the electronic health record, and update care plans
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case management, and other team members to coordinate patient care
Float to related MS Tele floors and overflow areas as needed to support patient throughput and bed placement
Requirements
Current, valid Massachusetts RN license
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association), AHABLS certification
Ability to pass Telemetry competency exam during onboarding (one attempt)
Willingness to float to other MS Tele floors and overflow areas
Demonstrated ongoing professional development and ability to work within a hospital telemetry setting
