Overview
Registered Nurse, MICU — Clearlake, California, United States. Start date 10/26/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a critical access hospital setting. Weekly pay range is $2,142 to $2,223, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is nights on a 3x12-hour schedule (approximately 6:00 PM–6:30 AM). This ICU-level role focuses on adult patient care within a compact hospital setting.

Setting: Critical Access Hospital ICU
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for ICU patients across adult populations, including assessments, monitoring, and intervention planning
Develop and implement individualized care plans; administer medications and therapies per protocol; manage life-support equipment as needed
Document clinical information accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and maintain unit standards and patient safety
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, and support staff; coordinate handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Respond to emergencies, participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives, and uphold infection prevention and safety practices
No on-call requirement; ensure quality care during night shifts and adapt to unit needs
Requirements
Current California RN license
ACLS and BLS required; PALS required within six months of hire
EPIC experience required
At least two years of documented ICU experience; CCRN encouraged (not required)
Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program; basic computer skills
Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting with appropriate certifications and ongoing education
