Responsibilities:
Assist in all aspects of perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes before, during, and after surgical procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and support staff
Scrub and circulate as needed, adapting quickly to varying surgical specialties
Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and department protocols
Document patient care activities and respond promptly to changing patient needs
Participate in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state or compact eligibility
At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
BLS and ACLS certification required
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Familiarity with diverse OR procedures and technology
Excellent adaptability and teamwork in fast-paced settings
