Medical Surgical Specialties (5K) - Day shift
Vascular Stepdown Intermediate Care (9K) - Day or Night shift
Intermediate Care Stepdown (10K) - Day or Night shift
Burn Trauma Intermediate Care & Med/Surg (8RP) - Day or Night shift
Progressive Ventilator Stepdown (PVSU) - Day or Night shift
Cardiac Procedural/Surgical Intermediate Care (4HH East) - Day or Night shift
Cardiac Advanced Heart Failure - Day or Night shift
General ICU - Night shift
Neuro ICU - Night shift
Burn Trauma/Vascular ICU - Day or Night shift
Cardiac ICU - Day or Night shift
Cardiac Surgical ICU - Day or Night shift
Emergency Department - Evening shift

Available Units & Shifts:
Med/Surg (5 West) - Night shift
Med/Surg (5 East) - Night shift
Intermediate Care Stepdown (4 East) - Night shift
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale
Experience
Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience (for specialty units - 2+ years recent experience in specialty)

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
In addition to the high-quality heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital, our facility is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several other dedicated facilities and specialized services. As a recognized accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, our hospital specializes in heart and vascular, neurosciences, neurosurgery, urology, oncology, spine care, advanced imaging, behavioral health, maternity, and women's health, including a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit.
