About This Role
The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) will perform an age‑specific plan of care for patients using the nursing process. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in a fast‑paced environment and are skilled in collaborating with healthcare teams.

What You'll Do
Assess the patient’s physiologic health status.
Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures.
Assess gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, and neurological health status.
Determine mobility, sensory deficits, prostheses use, and skin condition.
Assess level of pain and pain management.
Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care.
Elicit perception of medical/nursing care and expectations.
Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes.
Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities.
Maintain constant vigilance over patient care to ensure safety precautions.
Requirements
Education:Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience:Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty
Licenses & Certifications:Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required
BLS certification required, plus specialized certifications as needed
