Job Summary
nRespiratory Therapist (Registered) Jackson, MS. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care in a high-volume healthcare facility with multiple intensive care units, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a burn unit. The role requires working night shifts and delivering patient-focused respiratory support in a demanding clinical environment.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), BLS required; ACLS preferred, PALS preferred, Mississippi RCP License required.
nEducation Requirements: Not specified.
nLocation Requirements: Must hold a Mississippi RCP License.
nYears of Experience: Minimum 3 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
nSchedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Shifts start at 6:45 PM with early clock-in strongly encouraged but no earlier than 6:38 PM. No call.
nAdditional Information: Candidates should demonstrate integrity and strong time management skills. No RTO over the holidays between 11/22/2026 and 1/5/2027. The assignment involves working all holidays within the specified period. The position is located within a facility approximately 50 miles from the candidates residence.
