Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital position requiring 2 years of RRT experience and Ohio RRT licensure.
Details
Respiratory Therapy department position
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Weekend shifts as needed
May float to other facilities within the health system as needed
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
Ohio RRT license required if applicable
NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
BLS certification required
Negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, updated annually
Must be nicotine free as facility is smoke free with no exceptions
COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
Additional Information
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, though open cases and license hits are not accepted
Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this health system
