RN Dialysis | Des Moines, IA | 13 Weeks
UnityPoint Health is seeking an experienced Dialysis RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide acute inpatient dialysis care for patients with ESRD, AKI, and ICU-level needs while working across multiple hospital campuses.
Shift:
• 3x12s
• 36 Guaranteed Hours
Requirements:
• Active Iowa RN License or Compact License
• BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 24 Months Dialysis Experience
• Acute Inpatient Dialysis Experience Required
• Experience with Fresenius Machines Required
• EPIC Experience Required
• Telemetry Monitoring Experience Required
• No First-Time Travelers
Preferred:
• Peritoneal Dialysis Experience
• Hemodialysis Experience
Patient Population:
• ESRD
• Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
• ICU Dialysis Patients
Unit Highlights:
• 2:1 Patient Ratio
• Fresenius 2008T Machines
• Baxter HomeChoice Claria PD System
• Epic EMR
• Float Between UnityPoint Campuses as Needed
Additional Details:
• Every 3rd Weekend
• Minimal On-Call Rotation
• Holiday Rotation Required
• Navy Blue Scrubs
• 50-Mile Radius Rule Applies
Responsibilities:
• Acute Hemodialysis Treatments
• Patient Assessment & Monitoring
• Telemetry Interpretation
• Dialysis Machine Operation & Troubleshooting
• Documentation in Epic
• Collaboration with Nephrology and Critical Care Teams
