Job Summary
nRespiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Libertyville, IL. This role involves providing respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across various clinical settings. The position requires experienced care delivery with an emphasis on critical care procedures and comprehensive patient management.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and either RRT or CRT. Active license in Illinois required.
nEducation Requirements: Not specified.
nLocation Requirements: Must have an active Illinois license.
nYears of Experience: Minimum of 0 years (experience requirement: 0 years).
nSchedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from start date 11/09/2026 to end date 02/06/2027.
nAdditional Responsibilities: Experience with Trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, proning techniques, ECMO, ventilator management, ABG draws, and critical care procedures including spontaneous breathing trials. Must have EPIC electronic health record experience.
nSupport on the Unit: Supervisor.
nCharting System/Equipment: EPIC; Ventilators: PB840, PB980, Servo-U, Hamilton; CPAP/BiPAP: V60s, ResMed, RemStar; Other equipment includes Optiflow.
nFloat: Float rotation may be required.
nOrientation: 1 day on the unit.
nScheduling: 12-hour shifts; weekend rotation every other; no on-call; no approved time off without prior approval.
nAdditional notes: Scrub color is Charcoal Gray; parking is free.
