Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Kalispell, Montana.

Certification/License: Must be an RRT (no CRT accepted); BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS required
nExperience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required (first-time travelers accepted)
nFacility: Level III Trauma Center, 145 beds
nPatient Types: Mostly adults, some children in the ER; acute or chronic respiratory failure, pneumonia, flu, COVID, post-open hearts, critical/vented patients, CHF, COPD
nPatient Load: Case load typically 6-12 patients depending on assigned unit, based on a point system
nKey Skills Required: Vent management, BiPAP (non-invasive ventilation), high-flow O2, assisting with intubations, bedside bronchs, trach insertion and care; comfortable with clinical judgment and autonomous work; responds to rapid responses, traumas, and codes; NICU experience preferred but not required
