Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a day shift position requiring at least 2 years of experience and active IL licensure (license required if applicable).
Details
Respiratory Therapy unit setting
Day shift, 5x8s,
Every other weekend required
No call requirements
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist/RRT experience required
RRT certification required
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC)
NRP certification required
Active IL license required at time of submission, if applicable
IA license also required; if not active, proof of application for IA single-state or compact license required during compliance process
First-time travelers accepted
Supervisory performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months required
Additional Information
Contributes professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Weekly orientation held every Monday
Local candidates not accepted; all candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on taxable address
Candidates employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
