Travel Registered Nurse – Critical Care (ICU) | Nights | Wisconsin
Join a respected healthcare facility in Wisconsin as a Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for a 13-week assignment . This opportunity is ideal for experienced critical care nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and are comfortable managing complex patient care.
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (12-hour Nights)
Position Details
As a Critical Care RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, life-support interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions while ensuring safe, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and provide nursing care for critically ill patients.
Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and advanced life support.
Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other critical care therapies.
Manage ventilators, central lines, arterial lines, and other critical care equipment.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR .
