Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist in Columbus, GA
This travel Registered Respiratory Therapist job in Columbus, GA with Advantis Medical is an 8-week travel Registered Respiratory Therapist contract at Piedmont - Columbus Regional - Midtown Campus. This role pays $1,741 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this travel Registered Respiratory Therapist job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Facility: Piedmont - Columbus Regional - Midtown Campus
Location: Columbus, GA 31901
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Nights (3x12)
Responsibilities
Assess respiratory status and deliver ordered therapies, including aerosolized medications and oxygen management, across assigned units
Set up, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilators, supporting weaning per physician orders and facility protocol
Draw and analyze arterial blood gases per facility protocol
Respond to rapid responses and codes, providing airway support and assisting with intubation when assigned
Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist Requirements:
2+ years of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist experience.
Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Georgia and national regulatory bodies.
