Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment with variable shifts depending on clinical needs
Qualifications: Valid and current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Active state licensure for Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
Recent clinical experience in respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting
Ability to adapt to new technology and protocols quickly
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapies and life support as ordered by physicians
Assess, monitor, and document patient progress and response to therapy
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment
Respond promptly to emergency situations, delivering critical care as needed
