Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Current license to practice in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care or hospital settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible, team-oriented mindset and adaptability to new environments
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic respiratory conditions
Assess patient respiratory status and develop appropriate care plans
Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for integrated patient care
Document patient progress and interventions according to facility standards
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and equipment use
