As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in this dynamic travel assignment, you'll expand your expertise by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and adapting to new patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts based on facility need (details provided upon interview)
Desired Qualifications: Current credential as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Active state licensure (or eligibility for expedited licensure)
BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
Minimum of one year of experience preferred in acute clinical settings
Ability to thrive in fast-paced and changing environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and administer respiratory therapy interventions to diverse patient populations
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment as needed
Document care and outcomes in electronic health records
Adapt quickly to facility-specific protocols and workflows
