nnPosition Type: Respiratory Therapist Registered, Pediatric specialization
nSchedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
nRequired Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, relevant licensing, minimum of 1 year of experience, and ability to work in the specified location.
nAdditional Job Responsibilities:nnProvides intensive respiratory care and patient transport within scope of licensure.
nExplains procedures and provides education to patients and families upon discharge.
nOperates various ventilatory, oxygen, aerosol, and nebulizer devices to deliver prescribed treatments.
nPerforms chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and conducts routine chest x-ray reviews.
nPerforms Pulmonary Function Studies, arterial punctures, and assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement.
nMaintains equipment, assures proper documentation, and communicates treatment responses with physicians.
nPerforms cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to BLS and ACLS guidelines.
nPerforms insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes, operates ventilatory equipment, and conducts quality control tasks.
nCompletes comprehensive documentation of treatments, patient responses, and equipment maintenance.
nComplies with all policies regarding laboratory testing and safety protocols.
nPerforms tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tubes.

nPreferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric respiratory care and proficiency with advanced respiratory equipment is desirable.
nFloat: Float rotation may be required.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates must submit appropriate licensure and certification documentation upon application.
