nJoin a leading healthcare provider as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in Neurology in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on pediatrics and neuro diagnostics.
All previous permanent employees of any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. A Washington state license is required to apply. First-time travelers are accepted, but candidates must have 2 years of PICU or Adult experience and be open to floating to other campuses, including Swedish Issaquah.
Key Responsibilities:
n Manage a patient volume/load of 5 ventilators and 6-8 RVUs.n
Provide care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in various settings.n
Perform pulmonary function tests (preferred experience) and work in adult critical care, ED, PICU, and pediatrics (required experience).n
Utilize airway management devices and perform suctioning, extubation, and intubation assist.n
Administer medications including Albuterol, Flovent, and Nitric Oxide.n
Set up and manage medication delivery systems and nebulizers.n
Oversee ventilator management with BiPAP, CPAP, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.n
Interpret ABGs and perform basic EKG assessments.n

RRTn
Experience with EPIC is required, and candidates without NICU experience should be screened for NRP certification. Scrubs can be any color, and weekend coverage is variable.
