Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 1 trauma facility with 24/7 adult ICU physician coverage and ECMO capabilities.
Details
Respiratory Therapy Unit at a 760-bed facility with 95 RT staff
Level 1 trauma center with 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage
15-bed PICU and Level 3 NICU with adult ECMO capabilities
Uses Draeger V800 ventilators, Hamilton C1 ventilators, and Airvo for HHFNC
Performs respiratory care treatments and invasive/noninvasive ventilator management
Meditech EMR
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week assignment length
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of current RRT experience
NBRC certification required
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
License required if applicable
Pediatric/PICU experience preferred
Strong ICU experience preferred
Additional Information
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced critical care environment
Works alongside a large, experienced respiratory therapy team
Does not accept local candidates
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
