General Information
nWe are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The position is located in Richmond, VA, at a facility with a total of 430 beds.
Unit Information
n Number of Staff: 25
Patient Ratios: Normal floor assignment is 20-25 treatments per round
Type of Equipment: Oxygen, BIPAP/CPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, blood gas machines
EMR: Meditech
n Typical Procedures
n Nebulizers
BIPAP/CPAP
Ventilators
Arterial Blood Gases
n Qualifications
nThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
n Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Current Virginia State License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
n Best Personality Fit
nWe are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers high-quality patient care.
Work Schedule
n Rotating weekends
Available for one 24-hour call shift every 5-6 weeks
n Dress Code
nScrubs should be navy blue in color.
