Shift: Night shift, 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)n
Weekly Hours: 36n
Duration: 13 weeksn
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,660 - $1,780n
Experience Required: 2 years of respiratory therapy experiencen
Charting System: Epicn
Float: May be required to float to another hospital location at the facility’s discretionn
Additional Notes: Travel healthcare assignment with a collaborative hospital team serving a high-acuity patient populationn
Job Requirements
n Current Ohio State Licensen
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certificationn
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationn
High school diploma and college transcriptsn
2 years of respiratory therapy experience in an acute care or hospital settingn
Experience supporting adult critical care, Med/Surg, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patientsn
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a busy hospital workflown
Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy protocols, ventilator management, and airway managementn
Responsibilities
n Provide respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients across hospital unitsn
Set up and manage aerosol treatments, oxygen delivery devices, and non-invasive ventilationn
Support ventilator management, including weaning and troubleshooting high-pressure alarmsn
Perform and interpret ABGs and assist with respiratory diagnosticsn
Deliver airway care including suctioning, tracheostomy care, and extubation supportn
Administer ordered respiratory medications and therapies per protocoln
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patients with COPD, asthma, cancer, and other complex conditionsn
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and promote safe, efficient patient caren
