Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)nn
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional respiratory therapy and patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing physician's orders, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and maintaining departmental standards of care and practice.
Responsibilities:
n Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
Evaluate patient/resident responses to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective actions.
Provide education to patients and staff regarding respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
Conduct routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to the work performed.
n Qualifications:
n Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (required).
Proficient in ventilator management, BiPAP therapy, and experience in ICU and ER settings (required).
Trained in arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis (required).
ACLS certification is preferred.
BLS and NBRC certifications are required.
Active state license in Michigan at the time of submission is mandatory.
n Work Schedule:
n 36-hour guarantee per week.
Weekend requirements include every third weekend.
