The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonaryntherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsnthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublenbreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health carensettings.
Minimum Requirements:
Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationnfor the state in which he/she practices
One year of respiratory therapy clinical experiencenpreferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofnpractice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or statenregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
