We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the Emergency Department. This position requires a strong background in respiratory care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
n Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients in the Emergency Department.
Assess patient conditions and collaborate with medical staff to develop effective treatment plans.
Perform diagnostic tests and evaluations as needed.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and therapies.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
Work weekends as necessary to ensure adequate coverage and support patient needs.
n Qualifications:
n Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Current RRT license in Ohio is required.
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
Ability to communicate scheduling requests and availability during the application and interview process.
Comprehensive work history must be provided, including any previous positions held in similar settings.
n Schedule:
nThis position offers the opportunity to work either 8 or 12-week contracts. Shifts are scheduled for nights, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).
