Job Summary
nRespiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) Maine. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services across various units within the healthcare facility, including NICU, PICU, adult acute, critical care, and emergency departments. The position is a night shift, full-time travel assignment supporting a busy team of respiratory professionals in a tertiary, teaching hospital setting.

nRequired Qualifications: BLS certification; ACLS preferred; NRP certification for NICU; Respiratory Therapist (RT) certification; 3+ years of related experience; acute care pediatrics, NICU, PICU, adult acute, critical care, and emergency department experience; tertiary, teaching hospital experience; level 1 trauma experience.
nPreferred Qualifications: NICU/PICU experience.
nSchedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, including call requirements.
nAdditional Information: The position involves covering various department needs with a team of 14-16 respiratory therapists, managing diverse patient populations, and operating medical equipment such as Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy, Airvo, Vapotherm. Flexibility, teamwork, and excellent communication skills are essential.
