Description
American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position requiring BLS and ACLS certification along with ICU, general floor, and ED experience.
Details
Respiratory Therapy department providing cardiopulmonary services to inpatients and outpatients
Covers ICU, general floors, and ED, with minimal NICU and Peds exposure sufficient to support ED needs
Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 3x12s
13-week assignment
Requirements
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of Respiratory Care
BLS and ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience
ICU, general floor, and ED experience required
License required if applicable
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
Follow medical staff-approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services
Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
Maintain airways, manage ventilators, perform intubations, and draw blood gases
Radius rule in place: candidates residing within 50 miles will not be considered local travelers
RTO requests must be less than one week
Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
