Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a day shift hospital role requiring RRT registration and NY State licensure.

Details

8-week contract assignment

Day shift, 7a-7p

12-hour shifts, 3 per week

Uses Meditech EMR

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA accredited school for Respiratory Care

NY State license required, if applicable

RRT registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care

BLS and ACLS required, NRP and PALS preferred

Knowledge of acid/base/electrolyte relationships and implications of life threatening situations

Able to establish patient ventilator settings using metric measurements and advanced principles of volume, flow, and pressure relationships

Additional Information

75-mile radius rule applies, local candidates not accepted

Two professional references required from a Charge RN, Supervisor, or Manager within the past year and relevant specialty
