Job description
Travel Respiratory Therapist
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist with 5+ years of critical care and neonatal/pediatric experience for a night shift hospital position treating all ages and acuity levels.
Provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU.
Work 3x12-hour night shifts with rotating call and weekends.
Active Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required (DORA); NBRC RRT certification required; Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP; Minimum 5 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required; Excellent critical care and ventilator skills and experience required; Neonatal and pediatric experience required, including Level 2 NICU; Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program as required by licensure; Proof of flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted) between October 1 and April 1.
Candidate must have completed at least one prior travel assignment; not considered for first-time travelers; Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted; Housing may be available for rent directly through the facility, subject to availability.
